BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT APPRAISAL ORGANISATION(PAO)
To carry out Techno-economic appraisal of Major Irrigation, multi-purpose projects on interr state rivers and tributaries.
PAO is also responsible for ERM projects (Extension Renovation and Modernisation) proposed by Sate Government on interstate basins/rivers.
CE,PAO is Member Secretary of Advisory Committee of MoWR,RD & GR
Core activities
Techno Economic examination of PFR/DPR/ERM/Investment clearance proposals.
In 2018, it self, 3 meeting of Advisory Committee were held in the month of March, June and August.
